Homemade Gingerbread Play Dough Recipe

I came across this fantastic recipe and had to share it. My children love play-doh! So honestly we have only made home made play dough 2 times and it feels so whole some to make it from scratch for them!

Enjoy with this time of year!!

Ingredients:
1.25 cup flour
.5 tsp allspice
.5 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
.5 cup salt
.5 tbsp tarter
1.5 tbsp cooking oil
1 cup water

---------------------------

Combine all dry ingredients into a medium size pot,
mix until consistent.
Add water, oil and cream of tarter stir over low heat.
Continue mixing until dough like consistency.
Remove and place on wax paper.
Knead dough until smooth consistency.

Our batch turned out wonderful and smells good enough to eat! The kids have played with it all day long! Making cute little gingerbread men out of it and using cookie cutters to cut out stars and Christmas trees!! Have some fun with this idea!!
