Homeschool Week 32

This is our week 32 of school that equals 160 days so far!! The last few weeks have just been so crazy around our home. The Spring weather has made it wonderful and hard to stay indoors! However we have done great.  Remember all our basics are complete. This week and for the next several you will see lots of Scholastic books we are using. Several months back I bought 30-40 ebooks from there Dollar Days Sale waiting for review time to hit... So that time is upon us!!
Here is what our week is going to look like...

Together:

New Read A Loud: The Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk by Donald J. Sobol. This is inspired by our vacation in 2 weeks to the Outer Banks.

Memory Bible Verse: Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Matthew 22:37-38

Scholastic Word Study Learning - Good. This is something I bought on the Dollar Days. It takes common, over used words and goes threw other choices to help expand vocabulary!

Geology Unit - We are going to try hard to complete this, this week!

Kyle
Math Mammoth - Early Geometry (this is a review).
AAS Level 3 - Steps 6, 7 & hopefully 8.

CopyWork Cursive - Ancient Proverbs
Scholastic 100 Words to Know
Scholastic Follow Directions (may)
HOAC American Indian Lapbook (this may take 2 weeks)
Scholastic Analogies finished threw page 13 this week.
Devotional Daily(for adventurous boys)
Mad Libs (mega mind)
Reading Books this week: Babe Ruth Saves Baseball, Owl Moon, The Man Who Kept His Heart in a Bucket,  The Greatest Treasure, Cat - You Better Come Home!

Alexis

Scholastic 100 words to Know 1st grade finished on page 19.
CopyWork Print: Ancient Proverbs
Scholastic Analogies finished threw page 13 this week.
Mad Libs Jr (back to school)
Kumon Workbook - Sentences
AAS Lev 3 - Steps 6 & 7
Reading Books Daily: The Bernstein Bears - The Truth, Welcome to the Ice House, Anything for You, Snog the Frog, Falling for Rapunzel.

Zachary
AAR - Lesson 11-15
AAS Lev 1 Step 1
Kumon Workbook - Words
Hidden Pictures (he loves these)
Math Mammoth - Addition (review since done with MUS)
CopyWork - He only writes one sentence daily. He doesn't like the sheets like Lexi and Kyle use so we write one sentence daily and that seems to help him and not frustrate him.
Reading Books Daily: Fantastic Bats, A Rainbow of My Own, Draw Me a Star, Snuggle Up Sleepy Ones, DK Tractors.
