TOS Review ~ Apologia: Who Is My Neighbor?

Apologia: Who Is My Neighbor?

Book $39.00
Notebooking Journal $24.00
Coloring Book $8.00

Our family received a Book, Notebooking Journal and Coloring Book for review.

This review is personally a favorite. I haven’t used Apologia items much. I must say this was impressive. I enjoyed the ability to just sit on the couch and read with the kids as if it was a regular story read aloud and have my busy little boy color a coordinating picture or one of the others work on the notebooking journal as I read. This book is the 3rd in the set of their “What We Believe” Series. As a Christian Homeschool Mother I think this is one of the most important things I can teach my kids. Why they Believe in Christ. I want them to have a FIRM foundation in this area of life. I think Apologia is going to help me do just that. Explain in a wonderfully delightful way.

This book is focused on helping children learn what it means to be “salt and light” in the world. The lessons encourage children to build a servant attitude based on these biblical truths:
*God created me to be a blessing to the world
*God chooses to work through me
*I can make a difference at home, in my community, and at church
*the church is God’s family
*the church is one body with many gifts
*I am an important member of Jesus’ body

PROS
The pros to me are being able to use this with all 3 kids at the SAME time. Nothing needing to be divided. No extra time away from the others. All of us learning together!

CONS
I would like a family right to copies! With 3 kids and nothing really being able to be copied for the other kids. Mine kinda got into an agreement over the coloring pages!

I think this set is worth every penny it takes to get it to your living room and in your hands!

Apologia can be found here. Also on Facebook and Twitter!

The best thing to me is always being able to use products with ALL of my kids at the SAME time. This product is great for ages 6-14. With the coloring book it could even be for ages below that if the comprehension of the child was present.

Apologia has many other items for homeschooling. I would also HIGHLY recommend their new book – How to have a H.E.A.R.T. for your kids. It’s one of the best books I’ve read in years!

Disclosure: I received this set complementary for my honest review of the product through the TOS Crew.
