Well it's once again that wonderful time of the year that we have to start over! It's the new school year!! Jumping Up & Down - Not!! For our family it's a little different, we school year round and love it. We school 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off all year long. Our start date for our new school year is September 3.
Being a part of The Old Schoolhouse Review Crew has truly blessed my family beyond measure. The items that we get to review have been wonderful. To try new publishers and have things work for my kids better and for the things that don't I give to others so there is no harm.
Our day will start with some basic circle time which might last an hour.

One thing I find amusing about so many homeschoolers (myself included) is how often we say, "halfway through this, then starting that" because we understand it's not the end of the world if they don't finish.
ReplyDeleteI love your list. A couple titles I haven't heard of. I think we using Growing With Grammar as that is by Jac Kris Publishing and I really like it a lot. I plan on getting the writing to go along with it and already use the spelling by them. I have to sit and look at my list before I post it. I might make some last minute changes. I too am thankful for being on the Tos Crew as being able to try the curriculum was a blessing. I have found a few titles that I will stick to using.
ReplyDeleteA great list.We use the same spelling program.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Dawn
A wonderful list for your year. We use the same spelling program also. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
