Robert Frost Art Project

This week I decided on a project that went along with our weather!! Not that it's my favorite weather but it was theme appropriate!

This project was simple. You will need
Cardstock
Painter's Tape
Paint (black or blue)
Brushes

We read a short book  Robert Frost: Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening. It was a great book for this project. The pictures gave the kids a great idea of what the tree's where going to look like.

After we read the book we got our cardstock and painter's tape and began to make our trees. We cut very small pieces for the branches The kids each done this in their own way which is perfect!

After you get your painter's tape on your paper then you can paint over it. Your going to paint the entire page. We had a blueish black color that each of us used. We allowed the paint to dry for about 10 minutes then we gently took the tape off our paper.

 Your project is complete!

If your looking for some other ideas we have these for you!
