Weekly Wrap Up 3

Welcome to week 3!

Honestly this week I had a bad attitude, not the kids. I was tried a lot and just not really feelin' it several days. I tried to adjust that because as us homeschool momma's know that rubs off on our kiddos. To help I just tweeked our routine a little, I required a little less work this week too. I am not above that at all.

Our new math came this week and the kids love it. I hope that stays the same. We are now using Horizon's Math for my two smaller children.

Alexis has enjoyed drawing this week a lot out of her self teaching books:

I think they are beautiful! She is getting better and I am very proud of her for trying because she gets pretty upset if they don't turn out the way she wants!

We had a few drawing experiences this week like the Dinosaur below:

Everyone had a lot of fun and I am so glad that the kids ask for this during our homeschool day. We normally try to do something like this 3 or 4 times a week.

Kyle had some small issues with Algebra this week but nothing that my math smart husband couldn't help! He also got a lot more driving time in which makes him so happy.

I guess I wasn't the only one who needed some "down time" a few days this week! Isn't he just the cutest? They have grown a lot.

Zachary has been plowing his way through All About Reading Level 2 and he is really doing great. We have had to alter a few of the activities so he doesn't think they are "babyish" but other than that wonderful. This lesson he was using his highlighter tape to divide the syllables.

I also was so happy to open my Etsy shop finally this week. I have waited so long for that to happen and finally this week it started again! Please check out our Etsy store: Simply Pure Soy Candles. We have made candles since 2007 and took a break when we moved and it has been 4 years. You can follow our facebook page here too.

Thanks guys I hope everyone had a wonderful week.

 Enjoy your holiday weekend!
