Update here on the blog since the last 2 weeks I have been MIA...
Week 4 was very, very busy for us you see we where getting ready for a week long vacation several states away, so on top of normal household chores and life while homeschooling too we had packing and making sure everything was in order for the 9 days we would be gone.
Giving the babies some last minute attention.
Week 4 wasn't a full week but we did complete school Monday through Wednesday. Thursday was sent packing and running errands and Friday we left for Georgia! Can you say long road trip?
Friday and Saturday we spent in Atlanta visiting the aquarium and zoo. The Aquarium was nice but I will be honest I expected more. The main reason we went was because it is promoted as the world's largest and so that drew us. We loved seeing the Whale Sharks and that was worth the trip because they have 4 huge ones to observe. I will say I love Ripley's in Gatlinburg, TN better. Next we visited Zoo Atlanta and became members. The zoo was a wonderful place and we loved seeing the Giant Panda's for the first time. We stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stockbridge and that my friends wasn't the place to stay MISTAKE. Poor customer service and the room had 5 - YES 5 things wrong with it and once they moved us they refunded $15 (which wasn't even enough to cover the tax from one day). So stay somewhere else when going to Atlanta.
Sunday we left Atlanta for Panama City Beach in Florida. We loved our week trip there. We had never been and oh it was gorgeous. The weather was wonderfully perfect and I laughed and joked about of course it was I had prayed for 2 months.
The week was filled full of lazy, sun soaking, sand bumming, water fun... PERFECT.
We enjoyed several good meals and loved playing putt putt too.
The ride home and the hotel in Atlanta was the only bad from 9 days.
Loved our vacation and I could of stayed forever. I had everything I needed right there with me. Oh how it done my soul good to rest and take in my favorite creation on God's earth. I can't wait for the day when our residential home is paid off (2 years baby) and we can purchase a beach home.
I hope your weeks have been filled with greatness.
