Trim Healthy Mama { First 7 Weeks }

{Post may contain affiliate links}

I have posted several times within my weekly wrap ups about my new way of eating but I thought it would be a great idea to make a separate post about it because it has been that wonderful!

Trim Healthy Mama

Here are the books that help greatly however you could join in the Facebook group and learn all the facts too but to be more informed the books are a wonderful tool and the cook book is awesome!

Trim Healthy Mama Plan & Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook

Have you heard of it?

I actually had heard of it several times but not until about 3 months ago did I really start looking and learning what it is.

Trim Healthy Mama is a team of sisters Pearl and Serene that is educating families (woman) about eating healthy and by doing that we are losing weight!

I will be totally honest here. I have never done a diet. I'm lazy. I do not like to exercise either so I don't.

Okay that is out of the way.

I have been having some issues with sugar and noticing the way that it made me feel and it was scaring me so much so I had several conversations with my husband and spoke to a doctor about it too.

Last year I took away all boxed items in our home. HUGE step in our home.

I do not drink caffeine - it doesn't like me very well and that too was an issue I had to speak to the Dr about.

I have been on IBS medicine for about 2 years and although I have took medicine my symptoms are still something I would fight on a normal basis.

I said all that to say - We needed a change. I wanted to try something to see if my issues would get worse or better or if it was just my body.

I've been walking almost 2 miles every day and if not I have been working out 30 minutes to varies dvds.

I have been following the plan laid out in Trim Healthy Mama.

No sugar and watching carbs - the bad white ones!

In no way shape or form have I been hungry at all on this *diet* BUT I MUST SAY THIS IS NOT A DIET, it is a way of life. It is a simple lifestyle change.

I've been doing well. I have had some challenges like not wanting to exercise, getting use to cooking with different ingredients.

My biggest challenge has been bread and potatoes but the cook book has helped me greatly to have healthy versions I can turn too.

I have lost 10 lbs already. Maybe that doesn't seem like much to you but it is HUGE to me.

I have went down one entire pant size and almost 2 shirt sizes!

I can't really tell a difference unless I look at pictures.

The scale actually didn't show anything for the first few weeks. Then it went to 3 lbs and I knew I had lost more than 3 because I had to have more pants! The scale will lie.

If you are in need of a lifestyle change I encourage you to take a look at Trim Healthy Mama.

I have had no stomach issues, I have stopped taking my IBS medication.

I have had only a few ups and downs with sugar but nothing like I was having before.

Give THM a try!

I love them and their products but you do not have to buy their products at all.
