May Round Up

May was a good month. We finished up so much school that only three items are not finished. Every one of the kiddos have literature to finish...

I'm looking forward to a break! We normally school year round but with the kids older we have decided we will take a few months off and start back the first of August.

This school year has been a struggle so we are all ready for SUMMER.

Having toddlers is interesting let's just leave it at that...

Y'all know I love my low carb trim healthy mama lifestyle by now right... Well here was a mocha I whipped up.
Took my mom to the Biltmore House for her Mother's Day gift.

Sweet Lexi finally got her husky!!

Lex and I went to get a manicure and pedicure for the first time in years. We enjoyed every moment of it.

After a long hard day at work look what my sweet child brought in to me for Mother's Day.

Kevin and I on a date night for ice cream!

Look at that farmer's tan!! He uses sun screen and this is still what happens after 2 years of working outside.

Best dessert I've made to date happened recently!
Briana Thomas's chocolate cake doughnuts and a low carb cheesecake that finally got the texture right! I was beginning to think I would never find a cheesecake to satisfy me again until this one... Try # 9 finally got it!

My oldest has been sick with a tick bite!

 We got new hair!

 Started a new book!

We went bowling and had a fun time making fun of each other.

My awesome pitcher! He also got a homerun that game!

Memorial Day gave us some family time to enjoy each other and the pool for the first time this year.

April Wrap Up

We are wrapping some schooling up early! Makes me happy - it's a sweet reward for hard work through the winter.

My dad came in from Ohio for a few days and guess what...

We followed him back!! We made a short 3 day trip to spend time with my mom and dad since they can't ever come together. We had horrible weather but during a small break in it I allowed Kyle to drive.

Our church collected flowers for a local children's home, I was so happy to deliver them!

Lexi completed her second Life Of Fred book for the year! NO MORE MATH!!!

Lexi and her daddy filled the dehydrator up and enjoyed eating all the fruit.

The kiddos doing school one day all at the table... its rare they are all at the table.

The babies got a new outside table... very happy with it! They love having picnics!

EASTER EGG FUN!

Both kiddos flock to Kyle, they love him so much.

Happy Easter from our family to yours!

 So it begins... Baseball!

Made some awesome new Trim Healthy Mama snacks to help me eat every 3 hours.

Lexi and I enjoyed a dreamsicle smoothie.

Then someone stole it!!

 Look how sweet.

Kyle took me to eat for a date. I'm a lucky momma.

Alexis has been asking for Chacos for over a year and finally with some money saving skills I was able to get her a new pair and me a used pair for under a hundred bucks!

Someone likes to ride her trike in the house.

MY BABIES FIRST PROM!
HOMESCHOOLERS HAVE PROM!
My guys looked wonderful.

We have a special place we love to go after a long week and this is Zac enjoying his treat, after a long game that we won.

March Round Up

Hello March!
I love Spring and I am so happy this month is finally here.

My daughter hates math and I just had to show this to her when I found it!

Some new curriculum for us. Zachary is moving on to All About Spelling 3. Alexis is almost finished with her second Life of Fred book for the year and we thought we would try Charlotte Mason's approach to math!

Friends are moving and we had the pleasure of having them over one last time.

Additional work but finally finally done!!

Art project with the kiddos, simple and fun!

 We have two sweet additions!

Mr. Working man had an assignment due and was working on it late the night it was due... at least it got done!

Hubby made this great baby gate for me so that it matched everything in the house.

We had a lunch date! Love my man.

Waiting on Zachary at ball practice.

Shopping with a toddler is something I haven't had the pleasure of doing in a while, he said " I think I can like those." I picked them up and got them along with some plastic eggs for Easter.

Lexi playing on toys that are NOT age appropriate.

Lexi putting her skills to good use making our birthday babies cakes.
One dinosaur and one Minne Mouse.

My momma came to visit and got me my favorite flowers.

Having toddlers in the house has surely been different!

Lexi giving her presentation about an explorer at Coop.

We had a sweet friend gift us with a trip to the Biltmore and we loved every moment of it.

Hope you had a wonderful March!
